The Social Security Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) and Medicare premium information for 2025 have been announced.

The Social Security Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for 2025 will be an increase of 2.5 percent in 2025. The 2.5 percent COLA will begin with benefits payable to Social Security beneficiaries in January 2025.

The standard monthly premium for Medicare Part B enrollees will be $185.00 for 2025, an increase of $10.30 from $174.70 in 2024. The monthly Part B premium for higher income beneficiaries has also increased.
