SSDC Services has decades of experience helping large organizations bring down their health care costs by identifying pre-65 retirees who are eligible for SSDI or Medicare, and moving them off an employer’s health plan. We do this by performing data exchanges with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the retirement plan, and health plan. The data exchanges allows for investigating and solving discrepancies, performing special enrollments for eligible individuals and identifying and/or recovering payments by the plan that should have been paid by Medicare. We then provide ongoing education on SSDI and Medicare to early retiree populations and survey and analyze the responses for individuals who may be eligible for SSDI and Medicare. The ongoing combined effect of perfecting data and identifying and being Advocates for people who are eligible for SSDI and Medicare increases the percentage of pre-65 retirees on Medicare to 15- 20% of the population.
